The United States has changed rapidly. Today, Hispanic people represent the nation’s largest minority group, and Spanish is the second most common language spoken. And they are overrepresented in the criminal legal system. The system exists within the greater context of other societal systems that fail to provide linguistically concordant services. The ability to do so represents a clear advantage in rapport building, interviewing, and assessment. Lorio Forensics sees the problem. And through nationally recognized experts like Dr. Barbara Robles-Ramamurthy, we offer concrete solutions. Our collective strength as a firm is rooted in having the top mental experts in the country with the highest levels of training, combined with a clear view of all aspects of structural and cultural factors that inform the present reality.
Dr. Robles-Ramamurthy graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American with Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology. She earned her Medical Degree from the Baylor College of Medicine.
